ABSTRAK&#13;
Salah satu faktor yang mendukung kinerja perawat adalah pemberian imbalan.&#13;
Imbalan terdiri dari imbalan langsung dan imbalan tidak langsung. Dalam hal ini&#13;
pemberian imbalan tidak langsung meliputi: tunjangan, tunjangan tidak wajib,&#13;
karakteristik pekerjaan, dan lingkungan kerja perawat. Dengan adanya pemberian&#13;
imbalan, perawat dapat menerapkan patient safety dengan baik.. Tujuan penelitian ini&#13;
untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian imbalan terhadap penerapan patient safety di&#13;
Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh 2016. Jenis penelitian&#13;
adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan&#13;
sampel dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 66 responden dari 150&#13;
populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan membagikan angket kepada perawat&#13;
pelaksana yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap tersebut dalam bentuk skala Likert yang&#13;
terdiri dari 45 pernyataan. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chisquare.&#13;
Hasil penelitian didapatkan ada hubungan antara imbalan tidak langsung dan&#13;
penerapan patient safety (p-value 0,009), tunjangan (p-value 0,023), tunjangan tidak&#13;
wajib (p-value 0,026), karakteristik pekerjaan (p-value 0,019), dan lingkungan kerja&#13;
(p-value 0,027) dengan penerapan patient safety di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr.&#13;
Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh 2016. Dengan taraf signifikansi yang telah di sebutkan&#13;
maka dinyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat hubungan&#13;
antara keempat subvariabel imbalan tidak langsung dengan penerapan patient safety.&#13;
Diharapkan pada Rumah Sakit agar memperhatikan keselamatan dan kenyamanan&#13;
kerja perawat. Dan bagi kepala ruang diharapkan dapat memberikan reward kepada&#13;
perawat pelaksana.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
One of the factors that support the performance of the nurse is rewarding.&#13;
Rewards consist of direct remuneration and indirect remuneration. In this case the&#13;
reward is not directly include: allowances, allowances not required, job&#13;
characteristics, and work environment of nurses. With the rewards, nurses can&#13;
implement patient safety by good .. The purpose of this study to determine the&#13;
relationship rewarding the implementation of patient safety in the District General&#13;
Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh in 2016. The study was descriptive&#13;
correlative with cross sectional study design. The technique of sampling is&#13;
purposive sampling with 66 total sample of 150 population respondents. Data&#13;
collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to nurses who served in the&#13;
inpatient unit in the form of Likert scale consists of 45 statements. Methods of&#13;
data analysis using chi-square test. The result showed relationship between the&#13;
rewards are not immediate and implementation of patient safety (p-value 0.009),&#13;
benefit (p-value 0.023), allowances not required (p-value 0.026), job&#13;
characteristics (p-value 0.019), and the work environment (p-value 0.027) with the&#13;
implementation of patient safety in the District General Hospital dr. Zainoel&#13;
Abidin Banda Aceh, 2016. With the level of significance that has been mentioned&#13;
it is stated that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that there is a&#13;
relationship between the four subvariable rewarded indirectly by the application&#13;
of patient safety. Expected at the Hospital to pay attention to the safety and&#13;
comfort of the nurses. And for the head space is expected to give rewards to&#13;
nurses.&#13;
