MOTIVASI PETANI UNTUK BERGABUNG DAN TIDAK BERGABUNG DALAM KELOMPOK TANI DI KECAMATAN PASIE RAJA

ABSTRAK
Motivasi petani merupakan suatu dorongan atau rangsangan petani untuk melakukan usahatani didalam kelompok tani maupun diluar kelompok tani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi petani dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi petani untuk bergabung dan tidak bergabung dalam kelompok tani di Kecamatan Pasie Raja Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat motivasi petani untuk bergabung dan tidak bergabung dalam kelompok tani tinggi dengan nilai skor sebesar 2,38. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi petani untuk bergabung yaitu faktor internal harapan (X4) dan faktor eksternal yaitu adanya ketersediaan input pertanian (X5). Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi petani untuk tidak bergabung dalam kelompok tani yaitu faktor harapan (X4) dan konflik antar petani (X6) yang dapat dilihat dari nilai X2 hitung >X2 tabel dan pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 nilai Asymp.Sig lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti signifikan dan semakin erat pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi petani untuk bergabung dan tidak bergabung dalam kelompok tani.

FARMERS’ MOTIVATIONS FOR JOINING AND NOT JOINING IN FARMERS’ GROUPS IN PASIE RAJA SUB-DISTRICT SOUTH ACEH REGENCY

ABSTRACT
A motivation of farmers is an impulse or stimulus of them to do farming inside and outside the farmers' groups. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of the farmers’ motivations and what factors influencing them to join and not to join the group of the farmers in Pasie Raja Sub-district South Aceh Regency. Data were analyzed using the qualitative and quantitative methods. The result of the research showed that the level of the farmers’ motivations to join and not to join in the farmer groups was high with a score of 2.38. The factors influencing the motivation of the farmers to join were the internal factor of hope (X4) and the external factors, namely the availability of agricultural inputs (X5), while the factors influencing the motivation of them not to join the farmers' groups were a factor of hope (X4) and the conflicts between them (X6) that could be seen from the value of X2 hitung (count) >X2 tabel (table) and at the significance level of 0.05; Asymp.Sig value was smaller than 0.05, which meant (it is) significant and strongly had a relationship of their effects on the motivation of the farmers to join and not to join the farmers' groups.
