IP Address merupakan sebuah alamat pada komputer. Alamat tersebut berupa&#13;
angka-angka yang digunakan untuk dapat saling terhubung dengan komputer&#13;
lainnya. Sulitnya mengingat deretan angka yang banyak, menjadi alasan&#13;
diciptakan Domain Name Server (DNS). DNS merupakan server yang digunakan&#13;
untuk mengetahui IP Address suatu host melalui host name-nya. Dengan adanya&#13;
DNS, user tidak perlu mengingat IP Address dari komputer tersebut, user hanya&#13;
perlu mengingat host name-nya saja. Implementasi DNS pada sistem operasi&#13;
Linux yang sering digunakan adalah BIND. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu&#13;
menganalisa bahwa telah terjadi proses replikasi pada DNS master dan DNS&#13;
slave. Sehingga tidak ada DNS yang tidak dapat diakses jika sewaktu-waktu DNS&#13;
master tidak aktif ataupun sebaliknya. Analisa proses replikasi dilakukan dengan&#13;
mengakses secara langsung DNS yang telah diregistrasi menggunakan browser.&#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa replikasi pada DNS master dan DNS slave&#13;
dapat dilakukan dengan sukses. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dapat diaksesnya DNS&#13;
yang telah diregistrasi melalui browser, baik dalam kondisi master aktif maupun&#13;
master nonaktif. Replikasi dilakukan berdasarkan hasil pengecekan data, jika&#13;
diketahui ada data baru yang diinputkan user, sistem akan melakukan replikasi&#13;
secara otomatis berdasarkan waktu yang ditentukan. Proses replikasi terjadi dalam&#13;
waktu relatif singkat yaitu 1 detik atau 1000 milidetik. Namun, kondisi jaringan&#13;
yang kurang baik (putus-putus) dapat mempengaruhi proses replikasi.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
&#13;
IP address is a unique address that computing devices such as personal computers,&#13;
tablets, and smartphones are used to identify itself and communicate with other&#13;
devices. The difficulty in remembering huge numbers of figures, constitutes the&#13;
reasons why Domain Name Server (DNS) has been invented. DNS is a server&#13;
which is used to detect IP address of a host through its host name. With the advent&#13;
of DNS, the users do not need to remember the IP address of the computer, the&#13;
users merely need to remember the host name. Implementation of DNS at Linux&#13;
operation system which is often used is BIND. The aim of this study was to&#13;
analyze that there had been a replication process at DNS master and DNS slave so&#13;
that there had been no DNS which could not be accessed if sometimes master&#13;
DNS was not active or the other way around. Analysis on the replication process&#13;
is conducted to directly access the DNS which had been registered by using a&#13;
browser. The result of this research indicated that replication at DNS master and&#13;
DNS slave could be successfully done. This could be proved by being accessable&#13;
to the DNS which had been registered by using the browser, in the condition of&#13;
either active or inactive master. Replication is carried out on the basis of data&#13;
examining, if it was known that there were new data input by the users, the system&#13;
would automatically replicate based on the time which had been determined.&#13;
Replication process occurred in a relatively short time, that is 1 second or 1000&#13;
milliseconds. However, the condition of networks which was bad or discontinuous&#13;
could bring about impacts on the replication process.&#13;
