 &#13;
Until recently sexually transmitted infections is still a problem in the field&#13;
of health, social and economic development in various countries. In some&#13;
countries stated that the provision of an intensive counseling program would&#13;
reduce the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections. However, in most of the&#13;
incidence of sexually transmitted infections are still relatively high. Most people&#13;
with sexually transmitted infections are teens ages 15-29 years, but there are also&#13;
cases in infants in because of her mother contracted while in the womb or at&#13;
birth. High incidence of sexually transmitted infections, especially in the&#13;
adolescent age group one of the main causes is the knowledge level of adolescents&#13;
who are still relatively low, this will ultimately affect adolescent attitudes towards&#13;
sexually transmitted infections. This study is a descriptive study, which aim to&#13;
obtain information on knowledge and attitudes of adolescents in MAN Model&#13;
Banda Aceh against sexually transmitted infections with the approach used is the&#13;
cross sectional study. The population in this study includes all students in MAN&#13;
Model Banda Aceh. While the number of samples taken for this study were 90&#13;
people, which was taken by stratified random sampling technique. The samples&#13;
were then distributed proportionally based on grade level. The data was collected&#13;
using a questionnaire and a descriptive analysis. Test results of students' level of&#13;
knowledge and attitudes in MAN Model Banda Aceh to get a sexually transmitted&#13;
infection in the majority of the students' knowledge in MAN Model in Banda Aceh&#13;
that is equal to either category (75.6%), as well as to the attitude of the gain is&#13;
still arriving in either category that is equal to (77.8%). &#13;
