Menyusui eksklusif merupakan salah satu upaya dalam menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian bayi. Namun cakupan  ASI eksklusif masih sangat rendah. Model intervensi dengan menggunakan edukasi kelompok dianggap lebih efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan ibu menyusui untuk meningkatkan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh edukasi kelompok terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan ibu dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif di Kecamatan Darussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group before after design. Sampel terdiri dari 74 orang responden yang dipilih secara simple random sampling (37 responden kelompok intervensi, 37 responden kelompok kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden berumur 26-35 tahun (73% kelompok intervensi, 86,5% kelompok kontrol), status tidak bekerja (73% kelompok intervensi, 43,2% kelompok kontrol) berpenghasilan kurang dari Rp. 1.900.000,- (kelompok kontrol 67,6%. K56,9% kelompok kontrol), intervensi edukasi kelompok secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan ibu (p=0.000), sikap (p=0.000), dan tindakan (p=0.008). Perawat sebagai penyedia layanan kesehatan masyarakat memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat melalui edukasi kelompok. &#13;

Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the efforts to reduced morbidity and mortality infant rate. But breastfeeding rates was still very low. Intervention model by used education  group was considered more effective and efficient to improve the knowledge, attitude and mother’s action to provide exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of group education on knowledge, attitude and mothers action to provide exclusive breastfeeding in Darussalam Distric. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with design non equivalent control group before after design. The sample consisted of 74 respondents selected by simple random sampling (37 respondents intervention group, 37 respondents control group). The results showed the majority of respondents aged 26-35 years (73% of the intervention group, 86.5% of the control group), the status is not working (73% of the intervention group, 43.2% of controls) earn less than Rp. 1.900.000, - ( 67.6% of the intervention group. 56,9% of controls), intervention education group significantly affected  knowledge  (p = 0.000),  attitude (p = 0.000), and the action (p = 0.008). Nurse as a community health care provider have a role in improving community health status through  group education.&#13;
