ABSTRACT
Testicular torsion is defined as the process of a testicular emergency as it causes
cessation of testicular blood flow due to the twisting of spermatic cord. The
research was subjected to know the effect of testicular torsion to Leydig cells
include on the amount and the morphology of Leydig cells on ipsilateral Rattus
norvegicus testes. This experimental research used completely randomized design
(CRD) and divided the sample into 3 groups: control (K0) and experimental
groups (P1 and P2) that were induced by 360° testicular torsion for 4 hours. P1
was examined after testicular torsion induced (short term effect) and P2 was
examined after 30 days testicular torsion repaired (Long-term effect). Data were
analyzed by using ANOVA one-way followed by Tukey HSD test. The result showed
