ABSTRAK Nama : Rizky Setiawan Program Studi : Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Fakultas : Kedokteran Gigi Judul : Tingkat Pengetahuan Mahasiswa Kepaniteraan Klinik Kedokteran Gigi Terhadap Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN di Rumah Sakit Gigi Mulut Unsyiah Pengetahuan merupakan hasil tahu yang terjadi setelah seseorang melakukan pengindraan terhadap suatu materi tertentu. Setelah tahu akan merangsang seseorang untuk memahami dan mempersiapkan diri terhadap suatu materi. Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN adalah suatu pasar tunggal yang memungkinkan suatu negara dengan mudah menjual barang atau jasa ke berbagai negara di Asia Tenggara dan juga menjadi pasar tenaga kerja profesional. Diberlakukannya Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN akan membuka peluang tenaga kerja asing untuk mengisi jabatan atau profesi di Indonesia, begitu juga sebaliknya. Terdapat 7 bidang tenaga kerja profesional yang akan berdampak langsung terhadap penerapan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN yaitu; dokter, dokter gigi, perawat, arsitek, akuntan, surveyor, dan insyinyur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa kepaniteraan klinik kedokteran gigi terhadap Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN di Rumah Sakit Gigi Mulut (RSGM) Unsyiah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa kepaniteraan klinik kedokteran gigi terhadap Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN di RSGM Unsyiah adalah sedang yaitu dengan persentase 47,1% atau sebanyak 112 mahasiswa kepaniteraan klinik kedokteran gigi. After having the idea, it will stimulate someone to understand and prepare themselves for a material. ASEAN Economic Community is a single market that allows a country sell goods or services easily to various countries in Southeast Asia, and also to be a professional labor market. The implementation of ASEAN Economic Community would enable foreign workers to fill the job or profession in Indonesia, and vice versa. There are 7 fields of professional workforce that will have a direct impact on the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community, that is; doctors, dentists, nurses, architects, accountants, surveyors, and engineers. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge level of clinical clerkship students of dentistry on the ASEAN Economic Community at Dental and Oral Hospital of Unsyiah. This research was a descriptive cross sectional design. Sampling was done by using total sampling. The results showed that the knowledge level of clinical clerkship students of dentistry to the ASEAN Economic Community at Dental and Oral Hospital of Unsyiah was moderate with a percentage of 47.1% or 112 clinical clerkship students of dentisty.
