ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH TAHUN 2013 ABSTRAK Ulkus dekubitus merupakan masalah yang dihadapi oleh pasien dengan penyakit kronis, pasien tirah baring dalam waktu yang lama, pasien yang sangat lemah dan pasien yang hemiparese. Bahkan saat ini merupakan penderitaan sekunder yang banyak dialami oleh pasien yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit, untuk mencegah terjadinya ulkus dekubitus perlu diidentifikasi risiko terjadinya ulkus dekubitus. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui risiko terjadinya ulkus dekubitus menurut Braden Scale di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan desain cross sectional study. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Braden Scale dengan 6 variabel, yaitu perubahan persepsi sensorik, kelembaban, aktivitas, imobilisasi, status nutrisi, dan friksi serta gesekan. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 64 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor resiko terjadinya ulkus dekubitus menurut Braden Scale di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2013 berada pada kategori tinggi. Diharapkan kepada pihak Rumah Sakit agar terus meningkatkan kinerja para staf dalam merawat pasien tirah baring untuk mencegah terjadinya ulkus dekubitus. ZAINOEL ABIDIN GENERAL HOSPITAL BANDA ACEH 2013 ABSTRACT Ulcer decubitus is a problem dealt by patient with chronic disease, patient with long-term bedrest, a very weak patient and patient with long-term hemipalsied, and thers is a secondary suffering which experienced by patients hospitalized in hospital. To prevent ulcer decubitus, it needs identifying risk of ulcer decubitus. The aim of the research is to identify risk of ulcer decubitus incidence according Braden scale in in internal wards of dr. Zainoel Abidin general hospital Banda Aceh 2013. The research type of correlative descriptive by using design cross sectional study. The research instrument used questionnaire of Braden scale consisting 6 statements is perception sensory, the moisture, activity, immobilization,status nutrient, and friction and frictionless .Sampling technic i.e purposive sampling with 64 respondents. The result of the research showed that risk factors of ulcer decubitus according to Braden scale in internal wards of dr. Zainoel Abidin general hospital Banda Aceh in 2013 was at high category. It is recommended for hospital management to enhance the performance of the staff in nursing patient with bederest for preventing ulcer decubitus.
