KAJIAN SISTEM PEMELIHARAAN TERHADAP PRODUKSI SUSU SAPI PERANAKAN FRIES HOLLAND DI PETERNAKAN RAKYAT DESA SUKA MULYA, KECAMATAN LEMBAH SEULAWAH KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR Oleh AHMAD FADHLI 1005104010022 ABSTRAK Penelitian dilaksanakan di peternakan rakyat desa Suka Mulya, Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah, Kabupaten Aceh Besar Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan November 2015 sampai bulan Desember 2015. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat produksi susu dan income over feed cost sapi perah Peranakan Fries Holland (PFH) yang dipelihara di peternakan rakyat Suka Mulya Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode Penelitian dilakukan secara survey dan wawancara. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Analisa data dilakukan dengan tabulasi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata produksi susu sapi PFH adalah 9,25 liter/ekor/hari, rataan produksi susu lemak terkoreksi adalah 9,06, rataan income over feed cost Rp. 180.500,- dan rataan rasio hasil susu dengan biaya ransum adalah 1,86. Produksi susu sapi PFH yang dipelihara di desa Suka Mulya, Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah, Kabupaten Aceh Besar adalah baik dan income over feed cost berdasarkan ransum masih menguntungkan. Manajemen pemeliharaan belum terlaksana dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Sapi Peranakan Fries Holland (PFH), Sistem Pemeliharaan, Produksi Susu, Income over feed cost.
