Listening skill is very important in language class because it is one of the most used skill by students. However, students still get difficulties in improving their listening; such as less motivation, they felt bored in class and lack of vocabulary and structure: therefore, teachers need to apply appropriate technique to improve students listening comprehension. The objective of this study is to figure out how the use of map drawing helps the students to improve their listening skill. The method of this study is library research. The data were collected from books, articles, and other documents related to the study. The research results showed how map drawing technique improves students listening comprehension suggested by some experts. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of map drawing improves students listening comprehension because it facilitates practices, is interesting, and motivates students to participate in class activities. Therefore, it is suggested that senior high school teachers apply map drawing in teaching in order to improve students listening comprehension. &#13;
