Judul : Gambaran Sidik Bibir Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Syiah Kuala yang Suku Gayo, Aceh, Dan Melayu Menurut Klasifikasi Suzuki DanTsuchihashi

Analisis sidik bibir dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alat bukti untuk kepentingan identifikasi.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengetahui bentuk dan pola sidik bibirmahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran GigiUniversitasSyiah Kuala yang bersukuGayo, Aceh, danMelayumenurutklasifikasi SuzukidanTsuchihashi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini bersifat non eksperimental dengan disain survei. Penelitian dilakukan pada 13 orang Suku Gayo, 25 orang Suku Aceh, dan 16 orang Suku Melayu di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi UniversitasSyiah Kuala. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengoleskan lipstik pada bagian bibir atas dan bibir bawah kemudian hasil sidik bibir akan diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan softwarecorel drawX7 dengan cara membagi bibir menjadi 4 kuadran yang disesuaikan dengan panjang dan tinggi bibir. Tipe pola sidik bibir pada setiap kuadran ditentukan berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tipe sidik bibir berdasarkanklasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashipada Suku Gayo dan Suku Aceh memiliki tipe sidik bibir yang sama yaitu tipe II tetapi memiliki bentuk dan jumlah alur yang berbeda. Suku Melayu memiliki sidik bibir tipe IV. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi UniversitasSyiah Kuala yang bersuku Gayo dan Aceh memiliki sidik bibir tipe II sedangkan Suku Melayu memiliki sidik tipe IV.

Title : Lip Print Description of Gayo, Aceh, And Malay Ethnic Among Dental Students of Syiah Kuala University According To The Suzuki And Tsuchihashi Clasifications

Analysis of lip prints can be used as an evidence for the identification. The aim of this study is to determine the shape and pattern of the lip print among Gayo, Aceh, and Malay ethnic of Dental Students of Syiah Kuala University according to Suzuki and Tsuchihashi classifications. This study is descriptive study. This study is non experimental with survey design. The study performed on 13 people’sof Gayo ethnic, 25 people’s of Acehethnic, and 16 people’s of Malaysethnic at Faculty of Dentistry Syiah Kuala University. This study performed by applying lipstick on the upper and lower lips then the result of lipsprints identified by using corel drawX7 software by dividing the lip into four quadrants which adjusted to the leghth and height of the lip. Lip type pattern for each quadrant is determine accurding to Suzuki and Tsuchihashi classification.The results of this study shows the type of lip print according to Suzuki and Tsuchihashi classifications on Gayo and Aceh ethnic have the same type of lip prints that type II but have a different shape and number of groove. Malay ethnic have type IV of lip print. The conclusion of this study are Gayo and Aceh ethnic of Dental Students of Syiah Kuala University have the type II of lip prints while Malay ethnic has type IV of lip prints.
