ABSTRAK
Usia ibu merupakan salah satu faktor risiko komplikasi saat kehamilan dan persalinan serta mortalitas dan morbiditas pada janin/neonatus. Di negara maju seperti Amerika, Norwegia, dan Inggris terjadi peningkatan pada penundaan usia saat bereproduksi. Ibu usia lanjut dikaitkan dengan terjadinya penurunan kesuburan sehingga meningkatkan komplikasi kehamilan. Hal ini memberikan dampak pada janin diantaranya asfiksia neonatorum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor usia lanjut pada ibu hamil terhadap kejadian asfiksia neonatorum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang melahirkan di RSUDZA. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Selama penelitian berlangsung didapatkan sampel 209 responder dengan hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa usia lanjut ibu hamil dengan asfiksia neonatorum pada kategori usia 35-39 tahun berjumlah 20 bayi (13,1%), kategori usia 40-44 tahun berjumlah 8 bayi (15,1%), sedangkan kategori usia ?45 tahun tidak ada bayi yang terdiagnosis asfiksia neonatorum. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, kesimpulannya yaitu tidak terdapat hubungan antara faktor usia lanjut pada ibu hamil terhadap kejadian asfiksia neonatorum dengan nilai p > 0,05 (p = 0,861).

ABSTRACT
Maternal age is one of the risk factors for complications during pregnancy and childbirth as well as mortality and morbidity in the fetus/neonate. In developed countries such as the United State, Norway and the United Kingdom, there has been increased in the delay of childbearing. Advanced maternal age was associated with decreasing in fertility thus increasing pregnancy complications. It is impacted to the fetus including neonatal asphyxia. This study aims to determine the relationship between advanced maternal age on the incidence of neonatal asphyxia. This study used an observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The study population was all mothers who gave birth in RSUDZA. The technique of sampling is total sampling. During the study, the total sample is 209 respondents. The research results prove that the elderly pregnant women with neonatal asphyxia in the category 35-39 years were 20 infants (13.1%), 40-44 years were 8 infants (15.1% ), while the category of age ?45 years none of the infants diagnosed with neonatal asphyxia. Based on the analysis, the conclusion was there is no correlation between advanced maternal age on the incidence of neonatal asphyxia with p> 0.05 (p = 0.861).
