Pengendalian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), ditujukan untuk memutuskan rantai penularan  yaitu dengan pengendalian vektornya.  Indonesia memiliki banyak tumbuhan yang mengandung senyawa insektisida salah satunya adalah  tanaman  jahe  putih  (Zingiber  officinale.Rosc).  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas minyak atsiri  Zingiber officinale.L yang berasal dari Lambaro terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti.L instar III. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Eksperimen Laboratorium menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Konsentrasi minyak atsiri  Zingiber  officinale.L  yang  digunakan  adalah  0,050%,  0,075%,  0,10%,&#13;
0,25%, akuades sebagai kontrol negatif dan abate sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini berdasarkan uji fitokimia adalah Saponin, Flavonoid,   Terpenoid   dan   Alkaloid,   pada   konsentrasi   0,050%   didapatkan kematian 100% larva pada jam ke-4, 0,075% jam ke-2, 0,1% jam ke-2 dan 0,25% jam ke-1, sedangkan penggunaan abate kematian 100% larva pada jam ke-5. Pada Uji  Probit  didapatkan  nilai  LC50   minyak  atsiri  Zingiber  officinale.L  adalah&#13;
0,050% efektif membunuh larva Aedes aegypti.L instar III. Penelitian ini dapat&#13;
disimpulkan bahwa minyak atsiri tanaman Zingiber officinale.L yang berasal dari&#13;
Lambaro efektif terhadap kematian larva Aedes aegypti.L instar III.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
&#13;
The control of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is aimed to break the chain of transmission by controlling the vector. Indonesia has a lot of plants that contain insecticide compounds; one of which is white ginger plant (Zingiber officinale.Rosc). This study aimed to look at the effectiveness of the Zingiber officinale.L essential oil from Lambaro on the larva mortality rate of Aedes aegypti.L instar III. This is a Laboratory Experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The concentration of Zingiber officinale.L essential oil   used were 0.050%, 0.075%, 0.10%, and&#13;
0.25% with distilled water as a negative control and abate as a positive control. The results obtained in this study based on phytochemical test are Saponins, Flavonoids, Terpenoids and Alkaloids. Mortality rate of the larva at 100% was observed at the concentration of 0.050% in the 4th hour, 0.075% in the 2nd hour,&#13;
0.1% in the 2nd hour and 0,25% in the 1st hour. The use of abate on the other hand recorded 100% mortality rate of larva in the 5th hour. Probit Analysis showed that the essential oil of Zingiber officinale.L effectively killed the larva of Aedes aegypti.L instar III at the LC50 value of 0.050%. It can be concluded that the essential oil of the Zingiber officinale.L plant from Lambaro are effective to exterminate the larva of Aedes aegypti.L. instar III.&#13;
