ABSTRAK
Pasien kaki diabetik memiliki perasaan cemas yang berkepanjangan karena mengetahui bahwa diabetes melitus adalah penyakit yang tidak dapat disembuhkan hanya saja dapat dikontrol dengan gula darah yang baik, pasien kaki diabetik juga sering memikirkan komplikasi yang akan terjadi pada dirinya yang dapat menurunkan hormon serotonin pada diri pasien yang lambat laun dapat terjadi depresi pada pasien. Serotonin berfungsi sebagai pengaturan mood dan agregasi seseorang serta ditemukan di Sel ? pankreas untuk melepaskan insulin dalam pengaturan glukosa dalam darah. Dukungan keluarga sangat diperlukan sebagai manajemen stress pasien dan dalam proses pengontrolan gula darah pada diri pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan gejala depresi pada pasien kaki Diabetik di RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pengambilan sample menggunakan quota sampling dengan sample 60 responden. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kuisioner BDI (Beck Depression Inventory) dan kuisioner dukungan keluarga yang diwawancarai pada responden. Data selanjutnya dilakukan uji statistik dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian terdapat adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan gejala depresi pada pasien kaki diabetik di RSUDZA Banda Aceh dengan hasil penelitian didapatkan p value = 0,034 dimana Confidence Interval (CI) 95% dan ? 0,05 dengan p (0,034) < ? (0,05) Ho ditolak.

ABTRACT
Diabetic foot patients have prolonged feelings of anxiety knowing that diabetes mellitus is a disease that is not curable only can be controlled with good blood sugar. Patients with diabetic foot are also often think the complications that will happen to him which can reduce the hormone serotonin in the patient that eventually may occur in patients with depression. Serotonin functions as setting someone mood and aggregation as well as found in ? cells of the pancreas to release insulin in the regulation of glucose in the blood. Family support is indispensable as patient’s stress management and in the process of controlling blood sugar in the patient. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of family support with depressive symptoms in patients with diabetic foot in RSUDZA Banda Aceh. The type of this research is analytical observational with cross sectional design. Sampling is using quota sampling technique with a sample of 60 respondents. Data were obtained from questionnaires BDI (Beck Depression Inventory) and questionnaires of family support that interviewed on respondents. Data is then performed statistical tests to the Mann-Whitney test. Results of the study are the relationship between family support with depressive symptoms in patients with diabetic foot in Banda Aceh RSUDZA with the results, the p value = (0.034) where in Confidence interval (CI) 95% and ? (0.05) with p (0.034) < ? (0.05) H? is rejected.
