ABSTRAK Akne vulgaris merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit kulit yang umumnya terjadi pada masa remaja. Insidensinya biasanya terjadi pada usia 10-17 tahun pada wanita dan 14-19 tahun pada pria. Selain faktor-faktor resiko yang berperan dalam timbulnya akne vulgaris, sumber informasi yang tepat dan adekuat juga sangat mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap terjadinya akne vulgaris pada siswa/i SMA Labschool Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan Cross sectional survey. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa/i SMA Labschool Banda Aceh kelas X dan XI. Pengambilan sampel adalah dengan metode Stratified Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 70 sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0,011) dan sikap (p = 0.020) dengan terjadinya akne vulgaris. Secara umum hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap siswa/i SMA Labschool yang mengalami akne vulgaris dan yang tidak mengalami akne vulgaris berada dalam kategori cukup. Kata kunci : Akne vulgaris, Remaja, Pengetahuan, Sikap. ABSTRACT Acne vulgaris is one of the most common skin disease in teenagers. The incidence generally occurs around age 10-17 years old in women and 14-19 years old in men. Beside the risk factors that have role of acne vulgaris, the right and adequate information sources also have impact of the person knowledge and attitude. The purpose of the research aims to determine the correlation between the level of knowledge and attitude of the acne vulgaris incidence in SMA Labschool Banda Aceh’s students. This research is analytical observational with the cross-sectional survey design. Samples in this research were the X and XI class student of SMA Labschool. The way of take the sampling was the Stratified Random Sampling method in order to obtain as many as 70 samples. Data collected by questionnaire and data analysis done using bivariate with chi-square test. The results of statisctical tests indicate there is a correlation between the level of knowledge (p = 0,011) and attitudes (p = 0.020) with the acne vulgaris incidence. In general, the results of study show the knowledge and attitude of student with acne vulgaris and without acne vulgaris in SMA Labschool’s students were sufficient.
