ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat keragaman, keseragaman dan biomassa ikan karang pada Seawall di Pantai Ulee Lheue Kota Banda Aceh kecamatan Meuraxa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2015 hingga Juli 2015, menggunakan metode sistematik sampling dan tehnik metode belt transect. Pengambilan data ikan dilakukan pada 10 Site yang mewakili ekosistem Seawall (5 Site pada bagian kolam dan 5 Site pada bagian laut) dengan acuan roll meter 100 m, dan setiap Site dilakukan 4 kali pengulangan. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan 50 spesies dari 22 famili ikan. Ikan -ikan yang paling banyak dijumpai pada kedua bagian Seawall adalah dari Famili Acanthuridae, Apogonidae, Aulostomidae, Caesionidae, Chaetodontidae, Gobiidae, Monodactylidae , Pomacentridae, Zanclidae. Kelimpahan ikan yang ditemukan pada Seawall bagian laut berkisar antara 28 ind/400 m 2 - 74 ind/400 m 2 , sedangkan bagian kolam berkisar antara 23 ind/400 m 2 – 37 ind/400 m 2 . Indeks keanekaragaman (H’) berkisar antara 2,25 - 2,92, dan nilai H’ bagian kolam berkisar antara 1,75 – 2,53, indeks keseragaman (E) bagian laut berkisar antara 0,86 – 0,92 sedangkan nilai E pada bagian kolam adalah 0,71 – 0,96. Biomassa ikan yang didapatkan pada Seawall bagian Laut berkisar antara 4615,51 – 13196,35 gr/ Site dan Seawall bagian kolam berkisar antara 1535,84 – 4962,75 gr/ Site.
