 <note>The objective  of this  research  entitled  &quot;Improving  Students'  Speaking  Skill  through Community    Language  Learning  Method'   was to  find out whether  or not  teaching speaking using community  language  learning method can improve students'  speaking ability.  The study  is focussed  on teaching  speaking  monoloque  in form  recount text by using  community  language  learning  method.  To collect  the data,  the  researcher will use experimental  research.  The population  of this research was 24 of the second grade  students  of SMPN  1 Darussalam.  The data of this research  were  collected  by giving  the  tests  (pretest-posttest)   to the  students'   sample.  The  collected  data  were analyzed  by  using T test  formula.  The  results  of the data  analysis  showed  that the mean  score  of pretest  was  49.91,  the mean  score  of posttest  was  75.29,  and  the T observe  was  20.11.  The  T  critical  value  with  degree  of  freedom  23  and  level  of significance at 0.05 (5%) was 1.714. Based on the data analysis above, the alternative hypothesis    was   accepted   because   the   T   observed   was   higher   than   T   table (20.11&gt;1.714).   It also  meant  that  Teaching  Speaking  Using  Community  Language Learning  Method was effective to improve students'  speaking ability.</note>
