ABSTRAK Nama : Rossy Mawaddah Siddik Program Studi : Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Fakultas : Kedokteran Gigi Judul : Frekuensi Klasifikasi Impaksi Gigi Molar Tiga Mandibula di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Unsyiah Periode Januari-Juni 2015 Gigi molar tiga adalah gigi yang paling terakhir erupsi. Gigi tersebut erupsi antara umur 16-25 tahun. Gigi impaksi adalah gagalnya erupsi gigi pada posisi fungsional normal, berhubungan dengan kekurangan ruang pada arkus dental, obstruksi oleh gigi lain atau berkembang dalam posisi yang abnormal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui frekuensi klasifikasi gigi impaksi molar tiga mandibula di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Unsyiah Periode Januari – Juni 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskripstif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa foto rontgen panoramik dari pasien yang mengalami impaksi gigi molar tiga mandibula yang berkunjung ke Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Unsyiah periode Januari -Juni 2015. Jumlah subjek penelitian adalah 151 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 87 orang perempuan (58%) dan 64 orang laki-laki (42%) mengalami impaksi gigi molar tiga mandibula. Sebanyak 78 orang (51%) subjek mengalami impaksi molar tiga pada usia 18-25 tahun, 35 orang (73%) subjek mengalami impaksi kelas 2 dari klasifikasi Pell dan Gregory, sebanyak 24 orang (52%) mengalami impaksi posisi A dari klasifikasi Pell dan Gregory dan 88 orang (61%) subjek mengalami impaksi horizontal dari klasifikasi George Winter. The purpose of this study is to determine the frequency classification of third molar impaction in Unsyiah dentistry hospital during January -June 2015. This research is descriptive, using secondary data from panoramic radiographs of patients with mandibular third molars impacted visit to the Unsyiah dentistry hospital on January-June 2015. Number of study subjects was 151 people. The results showed 87 women (58%) and 64 men (42%) had mandibular third molar impaction. A total of 78 people (51%) subjects had third molar impaction at the age of 18-25 years, 35 (73%) subjects experienced grade 2 classification impaction Pell and Gregory, 24 people (52%) underwent impaction position A of classification Pell and Gregory and 88 (61%) subjects experienced a horizontal impaction of classification George Winter.
