ABSTRAK Nama : Wildani Mafaza Program Studi : Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Fakultas : Kedokteran Gigi Judul : Uji Daya Hambat Ekstrak Daun Sirsak (Annona Muricata L.) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Aggregatibacter actinomy-cetemcomitans Pada Berbagai Konsentrasi Periodontitis agresif adalah penyakit infeksi pada jaringan penyangga gigi yang bersifat progresif dan destruktif terhadap perlekatan periodontal dan tulang alveolar. Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans merupakan bakteri penyebab yang paling dominan pada penyakit periodontitis agresif. Daun sirsak (Annona muricata L.) merupakan tanaman obat tradisional yang memiliki efek antibakteri. Penelitian dengan desain eksperimental laboratoris secara in vitro dengan rancangan post-test only control group bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak daun sirsak (Annona muricata L.) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri A. actinomycetemcomitans pada berbagai konsentrasi. Uji daya hambat dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar pada media MHA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terbentuknya zona hambat (zona terang/ clear zone) pada berbagai konsentrasi mulai dari 12,5% sampai 100% dengan diameter rata-rata 5-15 mm. Dari hasil analisis data dengan one way ANOVA dan uji lanjutan Post Hoc LSD dengan ?= 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang bemakna. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun sirsak (Annona muricata L.) memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans dengan kemampuan daya hambat lemah hingga sedang. Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans is the most predominant bacteria that cause the disease aggressive periodontitis. Leaves of the soursop (Annona muricata L.) is a traditional medicinal plant which has an antibacterial effect. The purpose of this laboratory experimental design in vitro with post-test only control group design was to assay the inhibition of leaf extract of soursop (Annona muricata L.) on the growth of bacteria A. actinomycetemcomitans at several concentrations. Inhibition test performed with agar diffusion method on MHA media. The results showed the formation of inhibition zone (zone light/clear zone) at various concentrations ranging from 12.5% to 100% with an average diameter of 5-15 mm. From the results of data analysis by one-way ANOVA and Post Hoc LSD advanced test with ? = 0.05 indicates that there are significant effect. It can be concluded that the extract of leaves of the soursop (Annona muricata L.) can affect the growth of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans with weak to moderate inhibition ability.
