Abstrak. Tomat ceri (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) merupakan komoditas hortikultura bernilai ekonomi tinggi dengan keragaman varietas yang memiliki karakter morfologi dan fisiologi berbeda. Keragaman ini penting dikaji untuk mendapatkan varietas unggul sesuai tujuan budidaya.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkarakterisasi serta membandingkan pertumbuhan dan hasil lima varietas tomat ceri pada fase vegetatif dan generatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Desa Lambhuk, Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh pada Februari–Mei 2025. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non- faktorial dengan lima perlakuan varietas: Black Cherry, White Cherry, Chung, Cham Joy, dan Pear Yellow. Setiap perlakuan diulang empat kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan diuji lanjut dengan BNT pada taraf 5% jika berpengaruh nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan varietas memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 6 MST (Minggu Setelah Tanam), umur berbunga, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot per buah, dan aktivitas antioksidan. Pengaruh nyata juga ditemukan pada tinggi tanaman 2 dan 8 MST, panjang daun 6 MST, lebar daun 2 MST, serta bobot buah per tanaman. Varietas Cham Joy dan Black Cherry memiliki pertumbuhan vegetatif terbaik. Varietas Chung unggul pada karakter generatif dengan jumlah buah tertinggi. Aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi terdapat pada varietas White Cherry.

Abstract. Cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) is a horticultural commodity with high economic value, exhibiting varietal diversity with different morphological and physiological characteristics. This diversity is important to study in order to obtain superior varieties according to cultivation objectives. This study aimed to characterize and compare the growth and yield of five cherry tomato varieties during the vegetative and generative phases. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of Lambhuk Village, Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh from February to May 2025. A non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used with five variety treatments: Black Cherry, White Cherry, Chung, Cham Joy, and Pear Yellow. Each treatment was replicated four times. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further tested with LSD at the 5% level if significant effects were found.The results showed that variety had a highly significant effect on plant height at 6 WAP (Week After Planting), flowering time, number of fruits per plant, weight per fruit, and antioxidant activity. Significant effects were also found on plant height at 2 and 8 WAP, leaf length at 6 WAP, leaf width at 2 WAP, and fruit weight per plant. Cham Joy and Black Cherry varieties exhibited the best vegetative growth. The Chung variety was superior in generative characteristics with the highest number of fruits. The highest antioxidant activity was found in the White Cherry variety. Keywords: Characterization, cherry tomato, morphology, physiology, varieties.
