Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak bonggol nanas sebagai imunostimulan dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup serta menentukan dosis yang optimal bagi ikan nila salin. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Dosis ekstrak bonggol nanas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah A (kontrol), B (0,5%/kg pakan), C (1%/kg pakan), D (1,5%/kg pakan) dan E (2%/kg pakan). Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (PBM), pertumbuhan panjang mutlak (PPM), laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR), efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP), kelangsungan hidup (SR), uji profil darah dan kualitas air. This study aims to determine the effect of adding pineapple core extract as an immunostimulant in feed on the growth and survival of saltwater tilapia, as well as to determine the optimal dosage. The study employed a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replicates. The doses of pineapple core extract used in this study were A (control), B (0.5%/kg feed), C (1%/kg feed), D (1.5%/kg feed), and E (2%/kg feed). The parameters observed included absolute weight gain (AWG), absolute length gain (ALG), specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), survival rate (SR), blood profile tests, and water quality. The results showed that the addition of pineapple core extract had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the growth and survival of saltwater tilapia. The best results for AWG, ALG, SGR, and SR were obtained in treatment D (1.5%/kg of feed) with values of 5.00 g, 1.01 cm, 1.47%/day, and 76.7%. Meanwhile, the highest EPP was obtained in treatment E (2%/kg feed) with values of 88.5%. It can be concluded that the addition of pineapple core extract at a dose of 1.5%/kg feed can improve the growth and survival of saltwater tilapia. Furthermore, blood profile test results showed that the addition of pineapple core extract at a dose of 1.5%/kg of feed had a significant effect on erythrocyte levels, but the addition of pineapple core extract had no significant effect on hemoglobin and leukocyte levels.
