Provinsi Aceh memiliki kekayaan budaya, sejarah, dan potensi wisata yang besar, namun pemberitaan yang berulang mengenai isu syariat Islam dan konflik masa lalu turut membentuk Citra Budaya Aceh di kalangan masyarakat luar daerah. Media sosial, khususnya Instagram, menjadi salah satu sumber informasi utama masyarakat dalam memahami suatu wilayah, salah satunya melalui akun @acehplus yang aktif menyajikan konten mengenai Aceh kepada followers dari berbagai daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan konten Instagram @acehplus terhadap Citra Budaya Aceh pada followers di luar Provinsi Aceh, dengan mengacu pada teori Uses and Effects yang menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan media menghasilkan efek berupa perubahan persepsi, kognisi, motivasi, dan sikap khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatif melalui teknik purposive sampling terhadap 118 responden yang ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin dari populasi sebesar 2.361 followers. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup berskala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana, uji t, serta uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persamaan regresi Y = 30,385 + 0,778X dengan t hitung 6,119 lebih besar dari t tabel 1,980 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya, terpaan konten Instagram @acehplus berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citra budaya Aceh, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 24,4%, sedangkan 75,6% sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terpaan konten Instagram @acehplus berpengaruh nyata meskipun tergolong rendah terhadap pembentukan citra Aceh, sehingga disarankan peningkatan variasi konten oleh pengelola akun serta kajian variabel lain pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Aceh is a province rich in culture, history, and tourism potential, yet repeated coverage of Islamic sharia issues and past conflicts has shaped how outsiders perceive it. Social media, particularly Instagram, has become a main source of information for understanding a region, including through the acehplus account, which actively presents content about Aceh to followers from various areas. This study aims to determine the effect of exposure to acehplus Instagram content on the image of Aceh among followers outside Aceh Province, drawing on the Uses and Effects theory, which explains that media use produces effects such as changes in perception, cognition, motivation, and attitude. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and purposive sampling of 118 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula from a population of 2,361 followers. Data were collected through a closed Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. Results show the regression equation Y equals 30.385 plus 0.778X, with a t-value of 6.119 greater than the t-table value of 1.980 at a 5 percent significance level, so H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. This indicates that exposure to acehplus content positively and significantly affects the image of Aceh, with a coefficient of determination of 24.4 percent, while 75.6 percent is explained by other variables. It is concluded that exposure to acehplus content has a real, though relatively low, effect on shaping the image of Aceh, so administrators should enhance content variety, and further research should examine other variables.
