Ekosistem mangrove memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan pesisir sekaligus mendukung kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Pemanfaatan kawasan yang terus berlansung berpotensi menimbulkan tekanan ekologi dan degradasi apabila tidak dikelola secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting ekosistem mangrove, menilai status sosial ekonomi masyarakat pesisir berdasarkan (EAFM), menganalisis peran ekosistem mangrove terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat pesisir di Lamnga, Aceh Besar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari–April 2026 menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik snowball sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan flag model EAFM dan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi mangrove di Lamnga tergolong baik. Nilai komposit domain sosial sebesar 87 (sangat baik) dan domain ekonomi sebesar 65 (baik). Secara umum, ekosistem mangrove berperan penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan sosial ekonomi masyarakat pesisir.

Mangrove ecosystems play a vital role in maintaining the balance of the coastal environment while supporting the socio-economic well-being of the community. Continuous utilization of the area has the potential to cause ecological stress and degradation if not managed sustainably. This study aims to determine the existing condition of the mangrove ecosystem, assess the socio-economic status of coastal communities based on (EAFM), and analyze the role of the mangrove ecosystem in the socio-economic conditions of coastal communities in Lamnga, Aceh Besar. The study was conducted in February–April 2026 using quantitative methods with snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, then analyzed using the EAFM flag model and SEM-PLS. The results showed that the condition of the mangroves in Lamnga is classified as good. The composite value of the social domain was 87 (very good) and the economic domain was 65 (good). In general, the mangrove ecosystem plays an important role in supporting the socio-economic sustainability of coastal communities. Keywords: EAFM, Lamnga, mangrove ecosystem, social economic
