Kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) merupakan tanaman multiguna yang memiliki nilai ekonomis, gizi dan kesehatan tinggi, namun pertumbuhan dan produktivitasnya masih sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan unsur hara dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh optimasi pemberian unsur hara makro terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif dan indikator fisiologis tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan 1 dan Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala pada Januari 2026–Mei 2026, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non-Faktorial dengan 8 taraf perlakuan dan 4 ulangan (32 satuan percobaan), yaitu kontrol, pupuk lengkap (pupuk lengkap N:P:K:Ca:Mg:S), serta P2–P7 (pupuk lengkap tanpa salah satu unsur hara). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, kandungan klorofil, panjang akar, serta bobot basah dan kering akar, daun dan berangkasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian unsur hara makro berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (4, 6, 8, 10 MSPT), diameter batang dan jumlah daun (8, 10 MSPT), kandungan klorofil (6, 8, 10 MSPT), serta bobot basah akar, berangkasan dan bobot kering daun namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar, bobot basah daun, bobot kering akar dan bobot kering berangkasan. Perlakuan pupuk lengkap umumnya memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik, perlakuan tanpa kalsium terbaik pada diameter batang dan jumlah daun umur 8 MSPT, kandungan klorofil tertinggi dijumpai pada perlakuan tanpa fosfor yang menegaskan peran nitrogen sebagai unsur pembatas utama pembentukan klorofil, sedangkan kontrol konsisten menunjukkan nilai terendah pada hampir seluruh parameter.

Moringa (Moringa oleifera L.) is a multipurpose plant with high economic, nutritional, and health value; however, its growth and productivity are still heavily influenced by the availability of nutrients in the soil. This study aimed to determine the effect of optimizing macro-nutrient application on the vegetative growth and physiological indicators of moringa (Moringa oleifera L.). The study was conducted at Experimental Garden 1 and the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, from January 2026 to May 2026, using a non-factorial randomized block design (RGT) with 8 treatment levels and 4 replications (32 experimental units), namely the control, complete fertilizer (complete fertilizer N:P:K:Ca:Mg:S), and P2–P7 (complete fertilizer lacking one nutrient). The observed parameters included plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, root length, and the fresh and dry weights of roots, leaves, and shoots. The results showed that the application of macronutrients had a significant effect on plant height (4, 6, 8, 10 MSPT), stem diameter, and number of leaves (8, 10 MSPT), chlorophyll content (6, 8, 10 MSPT), as well as the fresh weight of roots and stems and the dry weight of leaves; however, they had no significant effect on root length, fresh weight of leaves, dry weight of roots, and dry weight of stems. The complete fertilizer treatment generally yielded the best growth; the treatment without calcium yielded the best stem diameter and number of leaves at 8 MSPT; the highest chlorophyll content was found in the treatment without phosphorus, confirming the role of nitrogen as the primary limiting factor in chlorophyll formation; meanwhile, the control consistently showed the lowest values for nearly all parameters.
