Ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) merupakan komoditas perikanan air tawar yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi, tetapi sensitif terhadap perubahan kualitas lingkungan. Sumber pencemaran yang berpotensi mempengaruhi organisme perairan seperti limbah air cucian kopi yang mengandung senyawa organik kafein, tanin dan bersifat asam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh limbah air cucian kopi terhadap daya tetas telur, tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan abnormalitas larva ikan mas. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan beberapa perlakuan konsentrasi limbah perlakuan 1 tanpa pemberian dosis air limbah cucian kopi, Perlakuan 2 pemberian air limbah cucian kopi dengan dosis 0,2 mL/400 mL, Perlakuan 3 pemberian air limbah cucian kopi dengan dosis 0,5 mL/ 400 mL, dan Perlakuan 4 pemberian air limbah cucian kopi dengan dosis 0,75 mL/400 mL. Parameter yang diamati yaitu daya tetas telur, tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan abnormalitas larva. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paparan limbah air cucian kopi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap daya tetas telur. Limbah tersebut berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup larva yang cenderung menurun seiring peningkatan konsentrasi limbah, dimana Perlakuan1 memiliki nilai tertinggi (95,00 ± 4,08%), terendah pada perlakuan Perlakuan 4 (77,50 ± 6,45%), dan ditemukan abnormalitas berupa kelainan skoliosis pada larva yang terpapar konsentrasi lebih tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah air cucian kopi tidak mempengaruhi daya tetas telur, tetapi berdampak negatif terhadap kelangsungan hidup dan menyebabkan abnormalitas pada larva ikan mas.

Common carp (Cyprinus carpio) is a freshwater fishery commodity of high economic value, but it is sensitive to changes in environmental quality. Potential sources of pollution that may affect aquatic organisms include coffee washing wastewater, which contains organic compounds such as caffeine and tannins and is acidic in nature. This study aims to analyze the effects of coffee washing wastewater on the hatching rate, survival rate, and larval abnormalities of common carp. The study employed an experimental design with several treatment concentrations of wastewater: Treatment 1 involved no addition of coffee washing wastewater; Treatment 2 involved the addition of coffee washing wastewater at a dose of 0.2 mL/400 mL; Treatment 3: coffee washing wastewater at a dose of 0.5 mL/400 mL, and Treatment 4: coffee washing wastewater at a dose of 0.75 mL/400 mL. The parameters observed were egg hatchability, survival rate, and larval abnormalities. The results showed that exposure to coffee washing wastewater did not have a significant effect on egg hatchability. The wastewater had a significant effect on larval survival, which tended to decrease as the wastewater concentration increased; Treatment 1 had the highest survival rate (95.00 ± 4.08%), while Treatment 4 had the lowest (77.50 ± 6.45%). Additionally, abnormalities in the form of scoliosis were observed in larvae exposed to higher concentrations. These findings indicate that coffee washing wastewater does not affect egg hatchability but has a negative impact on survival rates and causes abnormalities in carp larvae.
