ABSTRAK
Pola pembelajaran yang kurang memberikan peran aktif siswa tentu akan mempengaruhi antusiasme dan partisipasi siswa selama berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran, termasuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran ekonomi di SMAN 1 Baitussalam. Dimana sebagian siswa masih terlihat kurang aktif seperti tidak bertanya atau merespon pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan sebagian siswa tidak fokus menyimak materi pelajaran, beberapa siswa mengobrol dengan teman sebangkunya, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam pada pelajaran ekonomi, respon siswa terhadap penerapan model PBL pada pelajaran ekonomi serta nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model PBL pada pelajaran Ekonomi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen. Populasi 443 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 28 orang siswa kelas X-1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model PBL terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model PBL setelah terlaksananya peroses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ekonomi rata-rata tergolong sudah baik. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebelum penerapan model PBL sebesar 35 yang tergolong kategori kurang baik. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model PBL sebesar 79 lebih besar dari pada sebelum penerapan model PBL dan sudah tergolong kategori baik. Kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model PBL terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam.

ABSTRACT Learning patterns that do not encourage active participation in the learning process will certainly affect student enthusiasm and participation during the learning process, including the implementation of economics learning at SMAN 1 Baitussalam. Some students still appear less active, such as not asking or responding to questions posed by the teacher during the learning process. Some students are not focused on the lesson material. Some students chat with their deskmates, which impacts the students' learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam in economics lessons, student responses to the application of the PBL model in economics lessons and the average value before and after the application of the PBL model in class X Economics lessons at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental research type. The population is 443 students and a sample of 28 class X-1 students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique uses the t test. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of the application of the PBL model on student learning outcomes in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Students' responses to the implementation of the PBL model after the implementation of the learning process in economics subjects were generally considered good. The average value of student learning outcomes before the implementation of the PBL model was 35, which was categorized as less than good. Meanwhile, the average value of student learning outcomes after the implementation of the PBL model was 79, which was greater than before the implementation of the PBL model and was categorized as good. The conclusion is that there is an effect of the implementation of the PBL model on student learning outcomes in economics subjects for class X at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam.
