EFEKTIFITAS VIDEO BASED-EDUCATION PRA-DIGITAL SUBTRACTION ANGIOGRAPHY (DSA) TERHADAP KECEMASAN PADA PASIEN
STROKE SELAMA PERAWATAN

Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi kuesioner sosiodemografi, dan kuesioner state trait anxiety inventory (STAI) bagian state (STAI-S).

One of the gold standard diagnostic examinations for assessing cerebral vascular conditions in stroke patients is Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA). Despite its high diagnostic value, this procedure has the potential to cause anxiety in patients due to unfamiliar environments, fear of procedural risks, and a lack of understanding regarding the details of the procedure. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of pre-DSA video-based education on anxiety among stroke patients during care. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a matching pre-test and post-test control group design. The study sample consisted of 60 pre-DSA stroke patients selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments included a sociodemographic questionnaire and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)-State version (STAI-S). Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and independent samples t-tests. The results showed that there was a significant difference in anxiety before and after the provision of pre-DSA video-based education in the intervention group (pretest value 63.17 ± 5.100, posttest 57.43 ± 4.546 and p
