ABSTRAK
Fenomena tekanan akademik dalam proses penyusunan skripsi menjadi salah satu
faktor yang memengaruhi kesehatan mental mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Banyak
mahasiswa mengalami stres, kelelahan emosional, dan frustrasi akibat revisi yang
berulang, arahan pembimbing yang kurang jelas, serta tuntutan tinggi dari dosen
dan orang tua. Kondisi ini menimbulkan penurunan motivasi dan munculnya
perilaku pasif dalam menjalani proses bimbingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menggambarkan dinamika dalam proses bimbingan skripsi serta dampaknya
terhadap kelancaran dan pengalaman mahasiswa tingkat akhir.Penelitian ini
menggunakan teori anomi Robert K. Merton untuk memahami bentuk penyesuaian
mahasiswa terhadap ketidaksesuaian antara tujuan akademik dan cara-cara yang
diakui untuk mencapainya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan
kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam terhadap mahasiswa
tingkat akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinamika struktural, seperti
ketimpangan komunikasi dan perbedaan harapan antara mahasiswa dan
pembimbing, berpengaruh terhadap proses bimbingan. Mahasiswa menunjukkan
beragam bentuk penyesuaian, mulai dari kepatuhan terhadap sistem, pencarian cara
alternatif, hingga penarikan diri akibat kelelahan dan frustrasi. Hal ini menunjukkan
perlunya sistem bimbingan yang lebih komunikatif, empatik, dan mendukung
kesehatan mental mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT The phenomenon of academic pressure during the thesis writing process has become one of the factors affecting the mental health of final-year students. Many students experience stress, emotional exhaustion, and frustration due to repeated revisions, unclear guidance from supervisors, and high expectations from lecturers and parents. These conditions lead to decreased motivation and passive behavior in the supervision process. This study aims to describe the dynamics within the thesis supervision process and their impact on the fluency and experiences of final-year students. Robert K. Merton’s theory of anomie is used to understand how students adapt to the mismatch between academic goals and the accepted means of achieving them. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques involving final-year students.The findings reveal that structural dynamics, such as communication gaps and differing expectations between students and supervisors, influence the supervision process. Students exhibit various forms of adaptation, ranging from compliance with the system, seeking alternative ways, to withdrawal due to exhaustion and frustration. These results highlight the need for a more communicative, empathetic, and mentally supportive supervision system.
