Motor Low Voltage (LV) pada sistem AirSlide Fan di area Finish Mill berperan
penting dalam proses transportasi material Semen secara pneumatik. Keandalan
motor sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem proteksi, khususnya Thermal Overload Relay
(TOR) yang berfungsi melindungi motor dari arus beban lebih (Overcurrent) dan
kenaikan temperatur berlebih.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian setting Thermal Overload
terhadap arus nominal motor AirSlide Fan di area Finish Mill PT. Solusi Bangun
Andalas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengambilan data Nameplate Motor,
pengukuran arus beban aktual menggunakan Clamp meter, serta evaluasi setting
overload berdasarkan standar 1.05-1,15 kali arus nominal.

The Low Voltage (LV) motor in the AirSlide Fan system in the Finish Mill area plays a critical role in the pneumatic cement material transportation process. Motor reliability is greatly influenced by the protection system, particularly the Thermal Overload Relay (TOR), which protects the motor from overcurrent and excessive temperature rise. This study aims to analyze the suitability of the Thermal Overload setting to the nominal current of the AirSlide Fan motor in the Finish Mill area of ​​PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas. The methods used include collecting motor nameplate data, measuring the actual load current using a clamp meter, and evaluating the overload setting based on the standard 1.05-1.15 times the nominal current.
