Pemamfaatan aplikasi desain digital menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk
menggantikan proses mendesain secara manual yang dinilai kurang efisien dari
segi waktu dan fleksibilitas. Salah satu aplikasi desain digital yang mudah diakses
dan memiliki beragam fitur pendukung kreativitas adalah Ibis Paint X.
Penggunaan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam
menuangkan ide, mengembangkan kreativitas, serta meningkatkan kualitas desain
busana yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh
penggunaan Ibis Paint X terhadap kreativitas mendesain mahasiswa Tata Busana
FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif
korelasional dengan sampel 85 mahasiswa angkatan 2021 melalui teknik total
sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala likert yang telah diuji
validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis dengan regresi linear sederhana
melalui uji normalitas, autokorelasi, heteroskedastisitas, uji T, dan koefisien
determinasi (R2
).dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Ibis Paint X berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap kreativitas mendesain mahasiswa Tata Busana FKIP
Universitas Syiah Kuala. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji parsial (uji t) yang

The use of digital design applications is an effective alternative to replace manual design processes, which are considered less efficient in terms of time and flexibility. One digital design application that is easily accessible and has various features that support creativity is Ibis Paint X. The use of this application is expected to help students express ideas, develop creativity, and improve the quality of the resulting fashion designs. This study aims to determine the effect of using Ibis Paint X on design creativity in Fashion Design students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University. The study used a quantitative correlational approach with a sample of 85 students from the 2021 intake using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed with simple linear regression through normality test, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, T test, and coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of SPSS version 23. The results showed that the use of the Ibis Paint X application had a positive and significant effect on the design creativity of Fashion Design students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University.
