ABSTRAK
Mikroalga Nannochloropsis sp. memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung produktivitas akuakultur, meningkatkan kualitas biota akuatik melalui penerapan teknologi untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas alami. Namun, budidayanya sering kali terkendala pada media tumbuh yang mahal, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh penambahan fermentasi pupuk organik guano terhadap kelimpahan Nannochloropsis sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk tambahan berupa guano terhadap kelimpahan dan laju pertumbuhan, serta untuk mengetahui pemberian dosis yang optimal dalam pertumbuhan Nannochloropsis sp. Beberapa parameter yang diamati adalah kelimpahan kepadatan sel, laju pertumbuhan dan kualitas air. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan P4 menghasilkan kelimpahan sel tertinggi sebanyak 8000 sel/ml sedangkan perlakuan P1 menghasilkan kelimpahan terendah sebanyak 4916,67 sel/ml. selanjutnya laju pertumbuhan tertinggi terdapat di P4 sebanyak 17.24/hari sedangkan hasil terendah pada p1 sebanyak 4.56/hari. Hasil pengukuran parameter kualitas air pada penelitian yaitu suhu 28,oC, pH 8,1, salinitas 31 ppt dan DO 5,9 mg/l. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemamfataan fermentasi pupuk guano memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kelimpahan kepadatan sel Nannochloropsis sp.

ABSTRAK The microalga Nannochloropsis sp. has great potential in supporting aquaculture productivity and improving the quality of aquatic biota through the application of technologies that optimize natural productivity. However, its cultivation is often constrained by the high cost of growth media. Therefore, research is needed to evaluate the effect of adding fermented organic guano fertilizer as an alternative growth medium. This study aimed to determine the effect of guano fertilizer addition on the abundance and growth rate of Nannochloropsis sp., as well as to identify the optimal dosage for its growth. The parameters observed included cell abundance, growth rate, and water quality. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The results showed that treatment P4 produced the highest cell abundance of 8,000 cells/mL, while treatment P1 resulted in the lowest abundance of 4,916.67 cells/mL. The highest growth rate was also observed in treatment P4 at 17.24/day, whereas the lowest growth rate occurred in treatment P1 at 4.56/day. Water quality parameters during the study were within the ranges of temperature 28.°C, pH 8.1, salinity 31 ppt, and dissolved oxygen (DO) 5.9 mg/L. It can be concluded that the application of fermented guano fertilizer had a significant effect on increasing the cell abundance of Nannochloropsis sp.
