Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan praktik perlindungan aset pemerintah daerah di wilayah yang memiliki kerentanan tinggi terhadap bencana, dengan studi kasus di Pemerintah Aceh, Kota Banda Aceh dan Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, analisis dokumen, dan survey. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pemerintah daerah melindungi asetnya terhadap bencana. Temuan riset menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan aset masih berfokus pada perlindungan fisik dan administrasi tetapi perlindungan finansial masih terbatas dan selektif dikarenakan belum ada regulasi khusus terkait perlindungan aset terhadap bencana dan keterbatasan fiscal pemerindah daerah. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi perlindungan aset yang terintegrasi untuk menjaga stabilitas keuangan daerah di wilayah rawan bencana.

This study aims to map local government asset protection practices in areas with high disaster vulnerability, using case studies in the Aceh Provincial Government, Banda Aceh City, and Aceh Besar Regency. Qualitative methods were used, including semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and surveys. This study explores how local governments protect their assets against disasters. Research findings indicate that asset protection still focuses on physical and administrative protection, while financial protection remains limited and selective due to the lack of specific regulations regarding asset protection against disasters and the fiscal constraints of local governments. These results emphasize the importance of an integrated asset protection strategy to maintain regional financial stability in disaster-affected areas.
