Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat, khususnya di Kota Banda Aceh yang mengalami peningkatan jumlah penduduk setiap tahunnya. Salah satu sumber utama air baku di kota ini berasal dari Sungai Krueng Aceh, yang dikelola melalui Bendung Karet Krueng Aceh. Namun, kerusakan pada Bendung Karet dalam beberapa tahun terakhir sempat mengganggu proses pengambilan air baku oleh Perumdam Tirta Daroy, yang berperan dalam penyediaan air bersih untuk berbagai sektor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak rehabilitasi Bendung Karet Krueng Aceh terhadap tinggi muka air dan produksi air bersih Perumdam Tirta Daroy. Lokasi penelitian berada di Sungai Krueng Aceh, Desa Jurong Peujera, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Data yang digunakan meliputi data debit produksi air Perumdam Tirta Daroy, jumlah penduduk dari BPS Kota Banda Aceh, serta data tinggi muka air dari Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera I. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rehabilitasi Bendung Karet meningkatkan tinggi muka air dari 0,00–0,10 m pada tahun 2023 menjadi 0,67–1,08 m pada tahun 2025, yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produksi air bersih. Total produksi air periode Januari–April 2023 sebesar 6.842.042 m³ meningkat menjadi 7.223.103 m³ pada periode yang sama tahun 2025, atau mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5,57%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa rehabilitasi Bendung Karet efektif dalam meningkatkan stabilitas muka air dan produksi air bersih, sehingga mendukung keandalan pasokan air bagi masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh.

Clean water is a very important basic need for the community, especially in the city of Banda Aceh which is experiencing an increase in population every year. One of the main sources of raw water in this city comes from the Krueng Aceh River, which is managed through the Krueng Aceh Rubber Dam. However, damage to the Karet Dam in recent years has disrupted the process of taking raw water by Perumdam Tirta Daroy, which plays a role in providing clean water for various sectors. This study aims to analyze the impact of the rehabilitation of the Krueng Aceh Rubber Dam on the water level and clean water production of Perumdam Tirta Daroy. The location of the research is in the Krueng Aceh River, Jurong Peujera Village, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar Regency. The data used included data on the discharge of Perumdam Tirta Daroy water production, the number of residents from BPS Banda Aceh City, and water level data from the Sumatra River Regional Office I. The results showed that the rehabilitation of the Karet Dam increased the water level from 0.00–0.10 m in 2023 to 0.67–1.08 m in 2025, which was followed by an increase in clean water production. Total water production for the January-April 2023 period of 6,842,042 m³ increased to 7,223,103 m³ in the same period in 2025, or an increase of 5.57%. These results show that the rehabilitation of the Rubber Dam is effective in improving water level stability and clean water production, thereby supporting the reliability of water supply for the people of Banda Aceh City.
