ABSTRAK

Perawatan mesin merupakan suatu kegiatan yang paling sangat dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan produksi itu sendiri. Perawatan mesin ini dilakukan untuk mencegah adanya kegagalan sistem maupun untuk mengembalikan fungsi sistem jika ada terjadinya kegagalan dalam beroperasi. Beberapa perusahaan biasanya melakukan perawatan pada mesin apabila fasilitas atau peralatan mengalami kerusakan.Kata Kunci: Perawatan Mesin, Screw Press, Kelapa Sawit, Efisiensi, Produksi. Adapun tujuan kerja praktik lapangan pada perusahaan PT. Karya Tanah Subur adalah Mempelajari siklus dalam dunia pekerjaan, mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh dibangku perkuliahan di tempat kerja praktik, dan menambah wawasan dan ilmu baru dari tempat kerja praktik. Bedasarkan hasil kerja praktik pada perusahaan PT. Karya Tanah Subur dapat disimpulkan bahwa Mempelajari Siklus Dunia Kerja di Perusahaan dalam Perawatan Mesin Screw Press Selama mengikuti program proyek akhir di perusahaan, penulis mempelajari secara langsung bagaimana siklus dunia kerja berlangsung, terutama pada bagian perawatan mesin screw press. proyek akhir ini memberikan gambaran nyata tentang proses kerja di industri pengolahan kelapa sawit, mulai dari rutinitas harian hingga alur koordinasi antarbagian. Pada divisi perawatan, saya belajar bahwa perawatan mesin screw press tidak hanya berkaitan dengan perbaikan saat mesin rusak, tetapi juga mencakup perawatan preventif dan perawatan prediktif untuk mencegah kerusakan lebih besar di kemudian hari.

ABSTRACT Machinery maintenance is the most urgently needed activity in the production activities themselves. This machine maintenance is carried out to prevent system failures and to restore system functions if there is a failure in operation. The purpose of field practice work in the company PT. Karya Tanah Subur is to study the cycle in the world of work, apply the knowledge gained in lectures in the practical workplace, and add new insights and knowledge from the practical workplace. Based on the results of practical work at the company PT. Karya Tanah Subur can be concluded that Studying the Cycle of the World of Work in the Company in the Maintenance of Screw Press Machines During the internship program at the company, the author learned firsthand how the cycle of the world of work takes place, especially in the maintenance section of the screw press machine. This internship provides a real overview of the work process in the palm oil processing industry, from daily routines to inter-sectional coordination flows. In the maintenance division, I learned that the maintenance of the screw press machine is not only related to repairs when the machine is damaged, but also includes preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance to prevent further damage in the future.
