Meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengenal bilangan dapat dilakukan melalui aktivitas bermain media jam pintar di PAUD Ceria Desa Turam, Aceh Besar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak di kelompok B masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyebutkan lambang bilangan, membilang banyak benda, serta mencocokkan bilangan dengan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengenal bilangan melalui media jam pintar. Indikator dari mengenal bilangan yaitu anak sudah mampu menunjukkan lambang bilangan 1-12 secara mandiri tanpa bantuan guru, anak sudah mampu membilang banyak benda 1-12 secara mandiri tanpa bantuan guru dan anak sudah mampu menempelkan banyak benda 1-12 sesuai lambang bilangan secara mandiri tanpa bantuan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tempat pelaksanaan di PAUD Ceria Desa Turam Aceh Besar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 anak kelompok B PAUD Ceria Desa Turam yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan anak selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini jika 75% atau 7 dari 9 anak mencapai harapan dari indikator yang dimaksud. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengenal bilangan melalui media jam pintar di PAUD Ceria Desa Turam Aceh Besar adalah guru mamperkenalkan media jam pintar kepada anak, guru menjelaskan aturan sebelum bermain media jam pintar, guru menjelaskan cara bermain media jam pintar, guru mengajak anak satu persatu maju kedepan untuk bermain media jam pintar kemudia menyebutkan lambang bilangan 1-12, membilang banyak benda 1-12 dan mencocokkan bilangan 1-12 dengan lambang bilangan. Kemampuan anak mengenal bilangan melalui media jam pintar dinyatakan berkembang sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 75%.

Improving children’s ability to recognize numbers can be achieved through play-based activities using smart clock media at PAUD Ceria, Turam Village, Aceh Besar. The background of this study is based on the results of initial observations which showed that most children in Group B still experienced difficulties in recognizing number symbols, counting quantities of objects, and matching numbers with their corresponding symbols. This study aimed to improve children’s number recognition abilities through the use of smart clock media. The indicators of number recognition in this study included: (1) children being able to independently identify number symbols from 1 to 12 without teacher assistance; (2) children being able to independently count objects from 1 to 12 without teacher assistance; and (3) children being able to independently attach or match quantities of objects from 1 to 12 according to the corresponding number symbols without teacher assistance. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in three cycles. The research was carried out at PAUD Ceria, Turam Village, Aceh Besar, during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects of this study were nine Group B children aged 5–6 years. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation of teacher and children’s activities during the learning process. The success indicator of this study was achieved when 75% or 7 out of 9 children met the expected indicators. The results of the study showed that improving children’s number recognition abilities through smart clock media was carried out by introducing the smart clock media to the children, explaining the rules before playing, demonstrating how to use the smart clock media, and inviting children one by one to come forward and play using the media by identifying number symbols from 1 to 12, counting objects from 1 to 12, and matching numbers with their corresponding symbols. Children’s number recognition abilities through smart clock media were found to have developed in accordance with the predetermined success indicators, reaching 75%.
