Kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Tata Busana belum sepenuhnya optimal karena penguasaan Employability Skills masih terbatas dalam menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja pada era Revolusi Industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat Employability Skills mahasiswa konsentrasi Tata Busana, mengetahui tingkat kesiapan kerja mahasiswa konsentrasi Tata Busana, serta menganalisis pengaruh Employability Skills terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa konsentrasi Tata Busana pada Departemen Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga angkatan 2021, 2022, 2023 yang berjumlah 229 dan Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 168 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup dengan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, regresi linier sederhana, korelasi Pearson Product Moment, koefisien determinasi, dan uji signifikansi (uji-t). Hasil analisi koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,651% hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 65,1% variasi kesiapan kerja dapat dijelaskan oleh Employability Skills, sedangkan 34,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian ini. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang kuat, positif, dan signifikan antara Employability Skills dan kesiapan kerja, yang berarti semakin tinggi keterampilan kerja mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan mereka untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Employability Skills merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa konsentrasi Tata Busana.

The work readiness of Fashion Design students is not yet fully optimal because their Employability Skills are still limited in facing the demands of the working world in the Industrial Revolution era. This study aims to determine the level of Employability Skills of Fashion Design students, determine the level of work readiness of Fashion Design students, an analyze the effect of Employability Skills on the work readiness of Fashion Design students at the Department of Family Welfare Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The population in this study were 229 Family Welfare Education students from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 classes. The sample of this study was 168 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, Pearson Product Moment correlation, coefficient of determination, and significance test (t-test). The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) analysis of 0.651% indicate that 65.1% of the variation in work readiness can be explained by Employability Skills, while 34.9% is influenced by other factors outside this study. In addition, there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between Employability Skills and work readiness, which means that the higher the work skills of students, the higher their readiness to enter the world of work. Thus, it can be concluded that Employability Skills are an important factor that influences the work readiness of Fashion Design concentration students.
