CV Terminal Print merupakan salah satu usaha percetakan digital yang bergerak di bidang grafika dan menyediakan berbagai layanan desain serta jasa cetak, seperti spanduk, stiker, dan banner. Dalam proses produksinya, mesin Printing Taimes berperan penting sebagai peralatan utama, namun sering mengalami downtime yang menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas dan keterlambatan hasil cetak. Berdasarkan data produksi periode Januari 2024 hingga Juni 2025, total waktu downtime yang tercatat menunjukkan tingkat inefisien mesin yang cukup
signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab downtime pada mesin Printing Taimes di CV Terminal Print dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Six Big Losses. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE mesin Printing Taimes masih berada jauh di bawah standar ideal industri ≥85%, dengan nilai tertinggi sebesar 49% dan terendah 16%, serta rata-rata
hanya mencapai 30–40%. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi Six Big Losses, faktor utama penyebab rendahnya performa mesin adalah Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses sebesar 55,12%, diikuti oleh Reduced Speed Losses sebesar 20,91% dan Equipment Failure Losses sebesar 17,71%. Melalui analisis diagram fishbone, ditemukan bahwa tingginya idle disebabkan oleh keterampilan operator yang masih terbatas, belum tersusunnya prosedur standar penanganan error, kondisi sensor yang tidak stabil, serta kualitas tinta yang kurang konsisten. Sebagai upaya perbaikan,
penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan preventive maintenance melalui pembuatan check sheet perawatan bulanan pada komponen utama seperti sistem tinta, sensor, dan carriage untuk mengurangi downtime dan meningkatkan performa mesin.

CV Terminal Print is a digital printing business operating in the graphic arts field and provides various design and printing services, such as banners, stickers, and large-format prints. In its production process, the Taimes printing machine plays a crucial role as the main equipment but frequently experiences downtime, leading to reduced productivity and delays in print completion. Based on production data from January 2024 to June 2025, the total recorded downtime indicates a significant level of machine inefficiency. This study aims to analyze the causes of downtime on the Taimes printing machine at CV Terminal Print using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method and the Six Big Losses approach. The analysis shows that the OEE value of the Taimes printing machine remains far below the ideal industry standard of ≥85%, with the highest value recorded at 49% and the lowest at 16%, while the average falls between 30–40%. Based on the identification of the Six Big Losses, the main factors contributing to low machine performance are Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses at 55.12%, followed by Reduced Speed Losses at 20.91% and Equipment Failure Losses at 17.71%. Through a fishbone diagram analysis, it was found that the high idle time is caused by limited operator skills, the absence of standard error-handling procedures, unstable sensor conditions, and inconsistent ink quality. As an improvement effort, this study proposes the implementation of preventive maintenance through the development of a monthly maintenance checklist for key components such as the ink system, sensors, and carriage to reduce downtime and improve machine performance.
