KOMUNIKASI EFEKTIF SBAR OLEH PERAWAT DI RUANG RAWAT INAP DI RUMAH SAKIT MEURAXA BANDA ACEH
ABSTRAK
Komunikasi efektif merupakan aspek penting dalam meningktkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan dan keselamatan pasien. Salah satu metode komunikasi yang direkomendasikan adalah SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommedation) yang membantu perawat menyampaikan informasi secara sistematis dan jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran komunikasi efektif SBAR oleh perawat di ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Meuraxa Banda Aceh. Peneltiian ini menggunakan desain Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel berjumlah 146 perawat yang dipiilih melalui Proportional Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner bersisi 20 pernyataan dengan skala Likert dua kategori dan dianalisis secara Univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat menerapkan komunikasi efektif SBAR dengan kategori sesuai sebanyak 85 responden (58,2%), dan tidak sesuai sebanyak 61 responden (41,8%). Berdasarkan indikator, hasil tertinggi terdapat pada indikator Background (91,78%), diikuti oleh Situation (88,36%), Assessment (82,19%), dan yang terendah adalah Recommedation (51,37%). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan komunikasi efektif SBAR oleh perawat di ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Meuraxa Banda Aceh tergolong cukup baik namun masih perlu ditingkatkan, khususnya pada Recommedation. Disarankan agar pihak Rumah Sakit meningkatkan kegiatan pelatihan, supervisi, serta monitoring terhadap pelaksanaan komunikasi SBAR guna memastikan tercapainya komunikasi yang efektif dan mendukung kesehatan pasien secara menyeluruh.

One recommended method of communication is SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation), which helps nurses convey information systematically and clearly. This study aims to describe how nurses in the inpatient wards at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh, effectively use SBAR communication. The research employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 146 nurses were selected through proportional random sampling. Data were gathered via a questionnaire with 20 statements using a two-point Likert scale and analyzed univariately. The results indicated that most nurses applied SBAR communication effectively (58.2%), while 41.8% did not. Performance was highest in the Background (91.78%), followed by Situation (88.36%), Assessment (82.19%), and lowest in Recommendation (51.37%). These findings suggest that SBAR communication by inpatient nurses at Meuraxa Hospital Banda Aceh is fairly good but requires improvement, especially in the Recommendation aspect. It is recommended that the hospital increase training, supervision, and monitoring of SBAR use to promote effective communication and comprehensive patient care.
