Otitis Media Supuratif Kronis (OMSK) merupakan peradangan kronis pada telinga tengah yang ditandai dengan perforasi membran timpani dan keluarnya cairan (otore) selama lebih dari 2 bulan baik terus menerus atau hilang timbul. Kondisi kronis ini dapat mengganggu transmisi suara dan merusak struktur telinga tengah sehingga berpotensi menyebabkan gangguan pendengaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tipe OMSK dengan fungsi pendengaran di Poliklinik THT-KL RSUDZA periode 2023–2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi adalah 100 pasien. Data dikumpulkan melalui rekam medis dengan metode total sampling. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Spearman Rank (hubungan tipe OMSK dengan derajat gangguan pendengaran), dan uji Koefisien Kontingensi (hubungan tipe OMSK dengan jenis tuli). Mayoritas pasien OMSK adalah berjenis kelamin perempuan (51%), usia 18-45 tahun (57%), tempat tinggal Aceh Besar (19%), pendidikan terakhir SMA (58%), keluhan utama berupa keluar cairan (81%), sisi telinga unilateral (71%) dan lama penyakit 1-5 tahun (42%). Fungsi pendengaran pasien paling banyak menunjukkan tuli campuran (51,2%) dengan derajat sedang berat (24%). Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tipe OMSK memiliki hubungan bermakna dengan fungsi pendengaran, baik terhadap derajat gangguan pendengaran maupun jenis tuli. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tipe OMSK dengan fungsi pendengaran.

Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM) is a chronic inflammation of the middle ear characterized by perforation of the tympanic membrane and fluid discharge (otorrhea) for more than 2 months, either continuously or intermittently. This chronic condition can interfere with sound transmission and damage the structure of the middle ear, potentially causing hearing loss. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between CSOM type and hearing function in the ENT-KL Polyclinic of RSUDZA for the period 2023–2024. This study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. Samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 100 patients. Data were collected through medical records using the total sampling method. Statistical analysis used the Spearman Rank test (the relationship between CSOM type and the degree of hearing loss) and the Contingency Coefficient test (the relationship between CSOM type and the type of deafness). The majority of CSOM patients were female (51%), aged 18-45 years (57%), resided in Aceh Besar (19%), had a high school education (58%), had a primary complaint of discharge (81%), had unilateral ear discharge (71%), and had a disease duration of 1-5 years (42%). Most patients' hearing function showed mixed deafness (51.2%) with moderate to severe degrees (24%). Statistical tests showed that the type of CSOM had a significant relationship with hearing function, both in terms of the degree of hearing loss and the type of deafness. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the type of CSOM and hearing function. Keywords: Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media, type of deafness, degree of hearing loss.
