PT Mifa Bersaudara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara dan memiliki Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) di wilayah Meureubo, Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengoptimalkan efektivitas waktu kerja (EWH) pada unit Mobile Crusher 02 (MC02) yang berperan dalam proses peremukan batubara. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi yaitu belum tercapainya target produksi akibat tingginya waktu hambatan seperti standby time dan breakdown, yang menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi operasional dan produktivitas alat. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data primer hasil observasi lapangan dan data sekunder dari laporan produksi selama periode Mei–Juni 2025. Analisis dilakukan terhadap waktu hambatan, jam kerja efektif, serta tingkat ketersediaan alat berdasarkan parameter Mechanical Availability (MA), Physical Availability (PA), Utilization of Availability (UA), dan Effective Utilization (EU). Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata jam kerja efektif MC02 sebesar 7 jam dari total 10,05 jam tersedia atau efisiensi 69.65%, dengan hambatan terbesar berasal dari waktu standby sebesar 141,86 jam. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan melalui pengurangan waktu hambatan, efisiensi meningkat dan produksi naik dari 128.505 ton menjadi 168.864 ton, atau 112% dari target produksi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan efektivitas waktu kerja berdampak langsung terhadap peningkatan produktivitas unit crusher.

PT Mifa Bersaudara is a company engaged in coal mining and holds a Mining Business License (IUP) in the Meureubo area, West Aceh Regency. This study aims to analyze and optimize work time effectiveness (WTE) in the Mobile Crusher 02 (MC02) unit, which plays a role in the coal crushing process. The main problem faced is the failure to achieve production targets due to high downtime, such as standby time and breakdowns, which cause a decrease in operational efficiency and equipment productivity. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with primary data from field observations and secondary data from production reports during the period of May–June 2025. The analysis was conducted on downtime, effective working hours, and equipment availability based on the parameters of Mechanical Availability (MA), Physical Availability (PA), Utilization of Availability (UA), and Effective Utilization (EU). The results show that the average effective working hours of MC02 were 7 hours out of a total of 10,05 hours available, or 69.65% efficiency, with the biggest obstacle being 141.86 hours of standby time. After improvements were made by reducing downtime, efficiency increased and production rose from 128,505 tons to 168.864 tons, or 112% of the production target. These findings confirm that increasing the effectiveness of working time has a direct impact on increasing the productivity of the crusher unit.
