Motivasi kerja pengurus berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja koperasi syariah terutama setelah diberlakukannya Qanun Aceh Nomor 11 Tahun 2018 tentang Lembaga Keuangan Syariah yang mendorong konversi koperasi konvensional menjadi koperasi syariah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal masih ditemukan kendala seperti pendapatan koperasi yang belum optimal, rendahnya pemahaman prinsip ekonomi syariah, minimnya pelatihan, dan kurangnya apresiasi terhadap pengurus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pengurus koperasi syariah di Kota Banda Aceh dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. Seluruh 39 pengurus koperasi syariah aktif dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampling jenuh dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan persamaan Y = 7,205 + 1,173X, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,355, yang berarti motivasi kerja mempengaruhi kinerja sebesar 35,5%, sementara sisanya 64,5% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Nilai t-hitung (4,509) > t-tabel (2,026) dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus koperasi syariah di Kota Banda Aceh.

Work motivation plays an important role in improving the performance of Sharia cooperative managers, especially after the implementation of Qanun Aceh Number 11 of 2018 concerning Islamic Financial Institutions, which encourages the conversion of conventional cooperatives into Sharia cooperatives. Based on preliminary observations, several issues were identified, such as suboptimal cooperative income, low understanding of Islamic economic principles, limited training, and lack of appreciation for management performance. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on the performance of Sharia cooperative managers in Banda Aceh City. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consists of 39 active Sharia cooperative managers, all of whom were selected as samples using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through closed questionnaires. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show the equation Y = 7.205 + 1.173X, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.355, indicating that work motivation influences performance by 35.5%, while the remaining 64.5% is affected by other variables not examined in this study. The t-test result of t-count (4.509) > t-table (2.026) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 confirms that work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of Sharia cooperative managers in Banda Aceh City.
