Model pembelajaran Discovery Learning merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa menemukan konsep dan prinsip secara mandiri melalui proses penyelidikan dan eksperimen. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Montasik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Montasik Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan desain One-Group pretest-posttest. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X-3 SMA Negeri 1 Montasik yang berjumlah 33 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes hasil belajar, angket respon siswa dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (pretest) memperoleh nilai sebesar 44,24 dan setelah penerapan model tersebut (posttest) meningkat menjadi sebesar 82,72. Berdasarkan bahwa hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 > 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antar hasil pretest dan postest. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan post-test. Artinya, perlakuan atau intervensi yang diberikan sebelum posttest berdampak terhadap peningkatan atau penurunan skor peserta. Karena nilai Z bertanda negatif dan berdasarkan negative ranks, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa skor post-test secara umum lebih tinggi daripada skor pre-test, yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan setelah perlakuan.

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Montasik. The purpose of the study was to determine the learning outcomes of students before and after the application of the Discovery Learning learning model and to determine the students' responses to the application of the Discovery Learning learning model in the subject of Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Montasik, Aceh Besar Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach and type of research is experimental with a One-Group pretest-posttest design. The population used in this study were all students of class X-3 SMA Negeri 1 Montasik, totaling 33 students, and the sampling technique used was total sampling. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, student response questionnaires and documentation. The research results showed that the average score of students' learning outcomes before using the implementation of the Discovery Learning model (pretest) was 44.24 while after the implementation (posttest) it increased to 82.72. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, the significance value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0,05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This means that the treatment or intervention given before the posttest has an impact on increasing or decreasing the participants' scores. Because the Z value is negative and based on negative ranks, this indicates that the post-test score is generally higher than the pre-test score, which indicates an increase after the treatment.
