Penelitian ini mengukur secara empiris Total Factor Productivity (TFP) UMKM sektor ekonomi kreatif di Banda Aceh selama periode 2019-2024 menggunakan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Penelitian ini juga mencoba mengeksplorasi determinan TFP MEME menggunakan teknik regresi panel. Hasil penelitian ini, secara keseluruhan, UMKM sektor ekonomi kreatif di Banda Aceh mengalami dekomposisi sebesar -27 persen pertumbuhan TFP selama periode penelitian ini. Penurunan perubahan efisiensi teknis menyebabkan perubahan TFP menurun. Penurunan efisiensi teknis disebabkan oleh penurunan efisiensi skala. Lebih lanjut, penggunaan QRIS dan usia UMKM dilaporkan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pertumbuhan TFP. Di sisi lain, tingkat pendidikan pengelola tidak memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan TFP. Akhirnya, penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa untuk mendorong UMKM agar lebih produktif, UMKM disarankan untuk menggunakan QRIS sebagai metode pembayaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar UMKM menggunakan QRIS sebagai sistem pembayaran untuk meningkatkan produktivitasnya. Lebih jauh lagi, bisnis baru harus terus mengembangkan operasinya karena semakin lama mereka beroperasi, semakin produktif pula mereka.
This study empirically measures the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) of MSMEs in the creative economy sector in Banda Aceh during the 2019-2024 period using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This study also attempts to explore the determinants of TFP MEME using panel regression techniques. The results of this study, overall, MSMEs in the creative economy sector in Banda Aceh experienced a decomposition of -27 percent of TFP growth during this study period. The decrease in changes in technical efficiency caused the change in TFP to decrease. The decrease in technical efficiency was caused by a decrease in scale efficiency. Furthermore, the use of QRIS and the age of MSMEs reported positive contributions to TFP growth. On the other hand, the level of education of managers did not have a significant impact on TFP growth. Finally, this study suggests that to encourage MSMEs to be more productive, MSMEs are advised to use QRIS as a payment method. This study recommends that MSMEs use QRIS as a payment system to increase their productivity. Furthermore, new businesses should continue to develop their operations because the longer they operate, the more productive they will be.
