PPKn merupakan mata pelajaran yang berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kesadaran kewarganegaraan siswa. Tetapi dalam pembelajaran, proses belajar sering kali masih berpusat pada guru. Akibatnya, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dan tidak mampu mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Rendahnya inovasi dalam menerapkan pendekatan dan model pembelajaran juga berdampak langsung pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan culturally responsive teaching dengan model project based learning terhadap hasil belajar PPKn Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan kelas VII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest menggunakan soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 butir dan soal essay sebanyak 5 butir. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t (independent sample t- test). Hasil uji t menunjukan nilai thitung = 2,105 > ttabel = 1,672, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan culturally responsive teaching dengan model project based learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar PPKn siswa SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam.

Civics is a subject that plays an important role in shaping students' character and civic awareness. However, in learning, the learning process is often still teacher- centered. As a result, many students experience difficulties in understanding concepts and are unable to relate the material to everyday life. The low innovation in implementing learning approaches and models also has a direct impact on low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the culturally responsive teaching approach with the project-based learning model on the learning outcomes of PPKn students at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. This study used a quasi- experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population included all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with class VII-1 as the experimental class and VII-2 as the control class. Data collection was carried out through a pretest and posttest using 10 multiple-choice questions and 5 essay questions. Data were analyzed using a t-test (independent sample t-test). The t-test results show that the calculated t value = 2.105 > t table = 1.672, so that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the culturally responsive teaching approach with the project-based learning model has a significant effect on the PPKn learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam.
