Produksi jagung di Kabupaten Aceh Barat menunjukkan tren peningkatan selama tiga tahun terakhir, dengan produksi tertinggi tercatat di Kecamatan Pante Ceureumen. Meskipun memiliki potensi produksi yang besar, petani jagung di wilayah ini masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kekeringan dan fluktuasi harga jual yang berdampak langsung pada pendapatan mereka. Pendapatan usahatani sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti luas lahan, biaya produksi, dan harga jual. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ketiga faktor tersebut terhadap pendapatan petani jagung di Kabupaten Aceh Barat.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Pante Ceureumen, Kabupaten Aceh Barat pada bulan November hingga Desember 2024. Lokasi ditentukan secara purposive dengan pertimbangan bahwa daerah tersebut memiliki luas tanam dan produksi jagung tertinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 210 petani jagung, dengan sampel sebanyak 68 petani yang dipilih secara acak menggunakan metode simple random sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 10%. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan regresi linear berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total pendapatan petani dalam satu kali musim tanam mencapai Rp19.652.277. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, secara Bersama-sama (simultan), seluruh variabel independent yaitu luas lahan (X1), biaya produksi (X2), dan harga jual (X3) berpengaruh terhadap besaran pendapatan petani jagung. Begitu juga dengan hasil uji parsial (uji-t) dimana masing-masing variabel berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usahatani jagung.

Corn production in West Aceh Regency has shown an increasing trend over the past three years, with the highest production recorded in Pante Ceureumen Subdistrict. Despite having great production potential, corn farmers in this region still face various challenges, such as drought and fluctuations in selling prices, which directly affect their income. Farm income is strongly influenced by factors such as land area, production costs, and selling prices. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of these three factors on the income of corn farmers in West Aceh Regency. This research was conducted in Pante Ceureumen Subdistrict, West Aceh Regency, from November to December 2024. The location was determined purposively, considering that the area has the largest planting area and the highest corn production. The population in this study consisted of 210 corn farmers, with a sample of 68 farmers selected randomly using the simple random sampling method, based on the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%. The data used consisted of primary and secondary data. The analytical methods employed were income analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the total income of farmers in one planting season reached IDR 19,652,277. Based on the statistical tests, all independent variables—land area (X1), production costs (X2), and selling prices (X3)—jointly (simultaneously) had a significant effect on the income of corn farmers. Similarly, the partial test (t-test) results indicated that each variable individually had an effect on corn farm income.
