Pesatnya perkembangan Artificial Intellegence (AI) membawa manfaat sekaligus tantangan etika dan regulasi, khususnya di Indonesia dimana belum mengatur secara khusus terkait komunikasi publik dan penggunaan terkait AI. Melihat fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis narasi penggunaan AI yang bertanggung jawab dalam 6 artikel press release kolom Program Digital Ai di situs www.wapresri.go.id pada tanggal 28 februari-20 maret 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi Klaus Krippendorff (kuantitatif) dengan indikator narasi manfaat dan risiko, ajakan kehati-hatian dan etika, serta perlindungan kepentingan publik dan menggunakan teori propaganda Harold Lasswell (kualitatif) untuk melihat representasi penggambaran AI pada objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasi AI dalam press release Wapres RI ditemukan tidak berimbang dengan dominannya pesan mengenai manfaat AI yang direpresentasikan sebagai teknologi masa depan yang sangat bermanfaat dan harus segera diadopsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, hendaknya komunikasi publik terkait teknologi AI memperhatikan keberimbangan narasi antara manfaat dan risiko atas penerapan AI pada kegiatan masyarakat untuk meminimalisir potensi risiko atas penggunaan AI secara masif di masyarakat.

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents both benefits and ethical and regulatory challenges, particularly in Indonesia, where public communication and AI usage are not yet specifically regulated. Addressing this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the narrative of responsible AI use in six press release articles within the "AI Digital Program" column on www.wapresri.go.id, published from February 28 to March 20, 2025. This research employs Klaus Krippendorff's content analysis (quantitative) with indicators for responsible narratives, including the presentation of benefits and risks, calls for caution and ethical considerations, and the protection of public interest. Concurrently, Harold Lasswell's propaganda theory (qualitative) is utilized to examine the representation of AI depiction within the research objects. The study reveals that the AI narrative in the Vice President of Indonesia's press releases is imbalanced, with a predominant focus on the benefits of AI, which is represented as a highly advantageous future technology that should be immediately adopted. Based on these findings, it is recommended that public communication regarding AI technology prioritize a balanced narrative between its benefits and risks in societal activities, thereby minimizing potential risks associated with the massive adoption of AI in the community.
