 <note>ABSTRAK&#13;
Gempa-gempa yang terjadi di Sesar Andaman Barat di Pantai Barat Aceh di kaji &#13;
menggunakan data United States Geological Survei (USGS) dengan model &#13;
COMCOT. Periode data untuk penelitian ini adalah gempa-gempa yang terjadi dari &#13;
tahun 1975 hingga 2015. Simulasi gempa dilakukan berdasarkan skenario gempa &#13;
yang terjadi di sepanjang Sesar Andaman Barat. Klasifikasi gempa berdasarkan tipe &#13;
low, medium  dan  high. Tipe  low  dengan Mw 7, tipe medium   dengan Mw 8 dan tipe &#13;
high  dengan Mw 9. Dari simulasi di dapatkan untuk Mw 7 sangat kecil yang &#13;
berpotensi tsunami di Sesar Andaman Barat karena ketinggian air laut hanya 0,2 &#13;
meter. Untuk Mw 8 dan w 9 berpotensi Tsunami  destruktif, dimana pada Mw 8 &#13;
ketinggian air laut mencapai 1,5 meter  dan  Mw 9 ketinggian air laut mencapai 6 &#13;
meter. Tsunami tersebut  berdampak pada Pulau Weh, Pulo Aceh, Nicobar dan &#13;
Andaman.  Pulo Aceh dan Nicobar merupakan daerah yang paling cepat penjalaran &#13;
tsunaminya, ini di karenakan kedalaman gempa dan kedua daerah tersebut dekat &#13;
dengan pusat gempa.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;
The earthquakes that occurred in the West Andaman Fault in   the West Coast of Aceh &#13;
studied by using  the  data  from  United States Geological Survey (USGS).  This &#13;
research simulated with COMCOT model.  Period of data for this study are &#13;
earthquakes that occurred from 1975 to 2015. The earthquake simulation conducted &#13;
by the scenario earthquake occurring along the West Andaman Fault. Seismic &#13;
classification by  low,  medium and high  type.  The magnitude used in this study are &#13;
Mw 7 (low ), Mw 8 (medium), and Mw 9 (high). From   the simulation we can &#13;
conclude that the Mw 7 has the lowest tsunami, it is 0.2 meters. The Mw 8 and Mw 9 &#13;
potentially destructive tsunami, which at Mw 8  sea level reached 1.5 meters and Mw &#13;
9 sea levels reached 6 meter.The impact of the tsunami in this research are on  Weh &#13;
Island,  Pulo  Aceh, Nicobar and Andaman. Pulo Aceh and Nicobar are  the most &#13;
rapidly spreading  by tsunami wave,  because  of  the  epicenter  depth. Both of location &#13;
are near from the epicenter.&#13;
