Aljabar merupakan salah satu cabang utama matematika yang penting dan mendasar. Kenyataannya hasil belajar siswa pada materi aljabar masih rendah. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan satu upaya yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu solusinya yaitu menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD melalui video pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan video pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 15 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen, desain penelitian yaitu One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP 15 Banda Aceh sampel penelitian yaitu satu kelas eksperimen 28 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu soal tes bentuk aljabar dalam bentuk essay. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t pihak kanan karena hanya menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan untuk menguji apakah rata-rata skor postets lebih tinggi dari skor pretest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD melalui video pembelajaran pada materi bentuk aljabar. Guru bisa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan berbantuan video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bentuk aljabar.

Algebra is one of the main branches of mathematics that is important and fundamental. In reality, student learning outcomes in algebra material are still low. Therefore, an effort is needed that can improve student learning outcomes. One solution is to apply the STAD type cooperative learning model through learning videos. The purpose of the study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by learning videos at SMP Negeri 15 Banda Aceh. The quantitative research approach with the type of experiment, the research design is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of the study was all students of class VII of SMP 15 Banda Aceh, the research sample was one experimental class of 28 students. The instrument used was an algebraic test question in the form of an essay. The data analysis technique used the right-sided t-test because it only used one experimental class and to test whether the average posttest score was higher than the pretest score. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model through learning videos on algebraic material. Teachers can use the STAD type cooperative model with the help of learning videos to improve student learning outcomes, especially in algebraic forms.
