PENILAIAN KONSEP LIVABLE SETTLEMENT DI PERMUKIMAN KOTA BANDA ACEH
Studi Kasus: Gampong Lambung Kecamatan Meuraxa dan Bandar Baru Kecamatan Kuta Alam

Livable settlements are one of the priorities in sustainable development, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal point 11: sustainable cities and communities. In Banda Aceh City, residential areas show different characteristics, such as Gampong Lambung which is located in the coastal area and Gampong Bandar Baru which is dominated by the trade sector. Livability issues in this area include building quality, infrastructure availability, and access to green open space. This research aims to identify and analyze the level of habitability in these two areas. The approach used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, through field observations, interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using habitability variable scoring based on indicators of building quality, environmental infrastructure, green open space and affordability of the cost of living. The Likert scale was applied to measure people's perceptions of the conditions of their settlements. The research results are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the livability of the two areas, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and produce policy recommendations to improve the quality of settlements. This research also aims to support the development of sustainable settlement planning in the City of Banda Aceh.
