Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi jenis kalimat majemuk
dalam teks berita media Online Serambi Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data
penelitian ini adalah klausa atau kalimat yang mengandung ciri-ciri kalimat majemuk.
Subjek penelitian ini adalah teks berita online Serambi Indonesia edisi bulan Januari
sampai Juni 2024. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik baca
dan catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif,
yang terdiri atas reduksi kata, penyajian data, verifikasi dan simpulan. Berdasarkan
hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa teks berita media online Serambi Indonesia terdapat
kalimat majemuk setara, kalimat majemuk bertingkat, dan kalimat majemuk
campuran. Kalimat majemuk setara yang ditemukan terdiri atas kalimat majemuk
setara penjumlahan yang ditandai dengan penggunaan konjungsi dan, kemudian dan
padahal. Kalimat majemuk setara perlawanan yang ditandai dengan penggunaan
konjungsi tetapi, dan melainkan. Kalimat majemuk pemilihan yang ditandai dengan
penggunaan konjungsi atau. Pada kalimat majemuk bertingkat yang ditemukan terdiri
dari kalimat majemuk bertingkat hubungan waktu yang ditandai dengan penggunaan
konjungsi sehingga, selama, dan setelah. Kalimat majemuk bertingkat hubungan
syarat yang ditandai dengan penggunaan konjungsi bila, kalau, dan jika. Kalimat

The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive research type. The data of this research are clauses or sentences that contain the characteristics of compound sentences. The subject of this research is Serambi Indonesia's online news texts from January to June 2024. Data collection is done by using reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis is done by using qualitative data analysis technique, which consists of word reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the news texts of Serambi Indonesia online media contained equivalent compound sentences, multilevel compound sentences, and mixed compound sentences. The equivalent compound sentences found consist of sum equivalent compound sentences characterized by the use of conjunctions and, then and whereas. Oppositional compound sentences characterized by the use of the conjunctions but, and but. Elective compound sentences are characterized by the use of conjunctions or. The multilevel compound sentences found consist of time-relational multilevel compound sentences characterized by the use of conjunctions so, during, and after. A conditional relationship compound sentence characterized by the use of conjunctions when, if, and if. Compound sentences with a purpose relationship are characterized by the use of the conjunctions for, and so that. Compound sentences with a consecutive relationship are characterized by the use of conjunctions although. compound sentences with a causal relationship are characterized by the use of conjunctions because, and because.
